Lyle Dotson has over 30 years involvement in music. He coaches/teaches voice and keyboard self-accompaniment. He is committed to teaching in the context of learning songs and enjoys working with children to adults. He has directed children’s, adult & church choirs, acappella groups, stage productions, bands and more. Lyle has a BA with emphasis in Music, a MA in Education and Mdiv.

Yvonne McMillan

Yvonne McMillan was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, currently living in Philomath, Oregon. Her mother declares she was “singing when she came into this world, and sang everything she was thinking.” At the age of eight she began singing with her siblings. This blossomed into an acappella quartet that lasted throughout her youth with performances at churches and social events. In high school McMillan sang with choirs including the top Madrigal choir and performed in musical plays. In addition she received the Music Sterling Scholar Award. Throughout high school and while raising her family, McMillan formed ensemble groups in Utah, Texas, Washington and Oregon. She has performed in various bluegrass groups and around countless campfires. She also directed church choirs for several years and runs a music studio from her home. McMillan recently released her first CD titled “The Seats ‘Round Our Table”. After happily completing her first career of raising five children and completing her Masters Degree at OSU in music education, McMillan looks forward to bringing music into the lives of others for years to come. Currently she is the lead singer and bass player for SugarPine, a contemporary Northwest Regional bluegrass band.
